Hi everyone, 

How's it all going? Everything is going really well out here in Esso, Arusha and our training centre (Pallotti Community Training Centre) is growing and growing. We have students from far and near coming to learn how to use computers in our lovely training room with views of Mt Meru and on a good clear day Mt Kilimanjaro.

 The students pay an affordable fee to study with us and that money helps to sustain the centre and helps with other projects in the community. Students who cannot afford the fee are sponsored. We are running Foundation Courses, Intermediate Courses and Internet and Email. We have just offered a new Course "Teaching Certificate in Computer Applications" starting in July (I have to design it yet!) and there is already huge interest. It will be the first course of this kind in Tanzania. I love the work and we have a great team of trainee trainers, one already trained trainer and people willing to volunteer to help out - all local people.

So that's the update.... now here's the request!!!!! If any of you have flat screen monitors at home or at work that you don't use or need anymore we would really appreciate them.

I will be home in May (can't wait to see everyone) and can take a few back with me and also there will be a lot of people travelling here over the summer who will be able to take them.
