A SIGNED Manchester United jersey, raffled in one of Lake Region's fundraising ventures, has been presented to winner Ray Smyth from Tramore.

The raffle helped raise almost €1,000, which will go towards the cost of sending four Lake Region employees to Africa later this year to assist in educational and building projects with us in Malawi in October this year.

The jersey was supplied for the draw by Waterford-born Ireland and Manchester United player John O'Shea and then raffled among Lake Region Medical employees. John Fleischhacker, grandson of Lake Region Medical's founder Joseph Fleischhacker, presented the framed jersey to Ray Smyth.
